Experience 2/97 - PRESENT SCHAFER CORPORATION Computer Programmer Mr. Ramiscal is currently the program manager of the Air Force Phillips Laboratory SBIR “Mixed Media-based Information Software for Space Systems Technology Development”. His duties include designing the system’s architecture, selecting the software and hardware that will run and house the system, assessing the research data to determine the best possible method for structuring, redesigning and enhancing the current Phillips Laboratory information services, and the creation and implementation of the HTML based information software. He is working with Microsoft Windows NT Server, Microsoft Internet Information Server, Microsoft Index Server, Active Server Pages and VRML. Graphic Designer Ivan Ramiscal joined the Schafer Corporation in February, 1997 as a member of the technical staff. In that capacity, Mr. Ramiscal was responsible for programming to support technical analysis in multimedia applications. His main projects were designing and programming the prototype graphical user interface for an in-house software project, and building specialized components for the Space Based Laser interactive multimedia CD ROM. 10/96 - 2/97 BOSS TEMPS Interactive Multimedia Specialist Mr. Ramiscal was employed by Boss Temps as an Interactive Multimedia Specialist, creating, capturing and editing digital video movies, programming multimedia applications, designing graphical user interfaces, creating 3D animations and composites, composing musical soundtracks, and consulting on multimedia and Internet technologies. 01/96 - 09/96 O’KEEFE COMMUNICATIONS Graphic Designer Mr. Ramiscal worked at O’Keefe Communications as a Computer Artist creating 3D animations and composites, designing and editing digital video movies, designing graphical looks, and consulting on multimedia and Internet technologies. 01/96 - 05/96 CORCORAN SCHOOL OF ART Web Page Design Instructor Mr. Ramiscal worked at the Corcoran School of Art as a Web Page Design Instructor responsible for teaching a class of 12 students the fundamentals of web page design. This included teaching HTML programming, designing and optimizing digital video for the Web, designing and optimizing graphics for the Web, and the utilization of Java and Shockwave technologies for animation and interactivity on a Web Page. 08/94 - 01/95 LINGUEX INC. Manager of Desktop Publishing Mr. Ramiscal worked at Linguex Inc. as the Manager of the Desktop Publishing Department responsible for guiding and coordinating a team of 10 people working on the France Telecom project. This involved coordinating the delivery of french language documents to translators located in the United States and Canada, for translation into english, retrieval and receipt of the translated documents via fax or modem, formatting and printing of the documents to legal specifications, and the delivery of the final document to the France Telecom appointed law firm. 12/93 - 04/94 BIRCH AND DAVIS Junior Level Computer Programmer Mr. Ramiscal worked at Birch and Davis as the Junior Level Computer Programmer and as a Help Desk support specialist, working on the National Integrated Quality Control System, (NIQCS) microcomputer services. In this capacity, Mr. Ramiscal programmed C applications, and assisted users of the NIQCS hotline.
